An older item for the collector or to use. It is 6 1/2" by 5" by 4 1/2" and except for a few light scratching to the case it is in very good condition. I replaced the power cord and it does work. The info on the front follows: TYPE W 5 MT, VARIAC AUTOTRANSFORMER, GENERAL RADIO COMPANY, CAMBRIDGE, MASS., U. S. A. ONE SIDE COMMON TO LINE AND LOAD, LINE 115 V. 50-60 CYCLES, LOAD 0-135 V. 5 AMPS. PATENT APPLIED FOR. And below the dial it has VOLTS OUT FOR 115 VOLTS IN. I don't know much about electronics but hopefully you know what all of that means. It is quite heavy but will ship within the U.S.A. in a medium flat rate box for $10.95. I will ship outside the country but that will be quite a lot more. Please write for estimate.
